London's premier contemporary design show, designjunction, is back with a bang this September. For the first time, emerging and established design brands will strut their stuff across two historic venues in a four-day celebration of what's new and what's hot. Let the countdown begin!

It doesn't seem that long since London last went party-crazy in the name of design yet in a few weeks' time the streets of the capital will be jumping as The London Design Festival (19-27 September 2015) touches down once again.
The best place to see fresh talent and cutting-edge major names is designjunction, which positions itself in central London at the heart of LDF15. This year, in a stroke of genius, the old campus of Central Saint Martins on Southampton Row has been commandeered to showcase new work from some of the biggest stars in the design firmament.

The five floors of The College will exhibit shiny new collections from 180 international brands including Wrong For Hay, Ligne Roset, Fritz Hansen and Örsjö alongside smaller independents such as Brit talent Benjamin Hubert and former Central Saint Martins graduate Ptolemy Mann. Lighting aficionados will rejoice at the return of stellar light-fest lightjunction on the ground floor, and foodies will be well catered for with global street food on sale in the courtyard and 'Pick', a pop-up restaurant styled by designjunction's Creative Director Michael Sodeau (who also got his design chops in the hallowed halls of Central Saint Martins).
At the same time, across the road, designjunction's very first venue Victoria House will become a dedicated shop-till-you drop zone where you can take home new pieces from a vast array of up-and-coming brands at 35 pop-up stores and pick up interior design tips from stylists du jour Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead aka 2 Lovely Gays (see our previous post on 2LG here).

You'll also find engaging talks, workshops and flash factories in the mix. However, each year the queue to get in gets longer so be smart, register in advance online and put on your party face. We'll be waiting for you at the bar...
designjunction runs from 24-27 September 2015 at The College, 12–42 Southampton Row, WC1, and Victoria House, 37 Southampton Row, WC1.
