One corner of East London will be in full bloom next week as Lee Broom unveils his latest collections at the London Design Festival

One of our favourite young Brit designers will be coming over all floral at this year’s London Design Festival. To celebrate the launch of his new ‘Podium’ range of marble and glass vases, Lee Broom will be transforming his flagship Rivington Street store into the most elegant florist in town, turning his usually tranquil showroom into a carefully orchestrated riot of scent and vibrant colour.

There will be plenty to see at 'The Flower Shop' as Broom’s blooms surround his 2015 collection of furniture, lighting and accessories, which will be on show for the first time since wowing us in Milan. His ‘The Department Store’ installation saw him turn a clutch of disused shops into the most stylish showroom at this year’s Milan Furniture Fair. There’ll also be tasty edible floral treats and yummy floral martinis down in the basement at 'The Flower Shop Kitchen', courtesy of Red magazine’s Lifestyle Director Pip McCormac, taking inspiration from his book The Herb & Flower Cookbook.
This is bound to be the most fragrant show on this September’s design trail, so if your senses need a little stimulation after you've been pounding the streets of Shoreditch, be sure to make a beeline for #broominbloom...
Lee Broom, The Flower Shop, is at 95 Rivington Street, London EC2, from Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 September 2015. Open 10am-7pm; Sunday 11am-6pm.
