‘I’m a born and bred Londoner, working in London and living by the sea in Folkestone. I’ve worked for glossy magazines including Elle Decoration, Tatler, Red and Grand Designs, along with newspaper supplements ES, You and Event. I’ve also art directed commercial projects at Condé Nast for House & Garden and Vogue. 

Great modern design is the thing that really drives me. I love finding quirky new products, chilled places to hang out in and cool design stores.’

Guilty pleasures ‘Science fiction movies, chilled white wine and electronic music.’

'I grew up in Turkey, Indonesia and Iran and have never lost my love of globetrotting or curiosity about new places and people. A passionate Londoner, I'm currently living in Sydney, Australia, freelancing on design, style and travel for titles including Habitus, Louis Vuitton and the Luxe city guides.

Before a gig as Asia-Pacific Editor for boutique hotel website Mr & Mrs Smith beckoned down under, I was Assistant Editor on UK Elle Decoration and wrote regularly for Telegraph magazine and Time Out. I get a kick out of inspiring design, art, hotels and hot spots, and discovering the talents behind the scenes.'

Interesting fact 'I've tried my hand at horse whispering, stand-up comedy and ski hang gliding, and love the Tour de France.'
Guilty pleasures 'Magazines, Instagram, prosecco, and Gelato Messina's salted caramel ice-cream.'

'I grew up in Yorkshire and cut my teeth at Pimlico Road antiques dealer Christopher Howe before scouring the world for beautiful spaces as Homes Editor at UK Elle Decoration. I’ve freelanced for design glossies from Vogue Living Australia to Corriere della Sera’s Living magazine and have edited seven interior design books, including A Beautiful Mess and Grandiflora for teNeues, always drawn to flamboyant, follow-your-own-path people and their homes. Having lived in London, Milan and Sydney, I’m now settled with my family in the Cheshire hills but dreaming of Paris and Bondi Beach!'

Interesting fact ‘I’m obsessed with beauty products, which borders on weird as I wear very little make-up.’
